For work

Team, we're holding a potluck in the break room on Friday, June 11 at noon. If you'd like to join in, please choose something to bring here: [your link] There's no pressure to cook. Plates, napkins and drinks are on the list too.

A polite way to ask for a dish

You don't need to apologize for it, because a potluck is a shared meal by design. Say what you are providing, then invite people to add to it.

We'll have the burgers and drinks covered. If you can, please bring a side or dessert to share.

A reminder message
